Role
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Wigton for a Mechanical Design Engineer.
You will be responsible for designing and developing machinery components, creating detailed 2D & 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings, and ensuring designs meet required specifications.
Additional responsibilities include:- collaborating with cross-functional teams, refining product designs, and contributing to engineering solutions that align with client needs and company standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design processes.
- Experience and skills in Machine Design and Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong knowledge and application of 2D & 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools.
- HNC in Mechanical Engineering (Or relevant proven experience will be considered).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Prior experience in machinery or production line design is a plus.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and practices.
Would suit a newly qualified CAD Engineer.
